Do I have to get a box kit?
You are not required to purchase a box kit. You may use your own boxes, but keep in mind shipping boxes are of greater strength than normal moving boxes!
Please keep in mind that you DO NOT have to ship all the boxes in the box kit. They may be saved and reused.
Go to the 'Place an Order' tab along the left sidebar and please select the 'Ship My Own Boxes' option.
Is it really only $69.95 or 75.95 for the shipping and the box kit?
NO. The $69.95 or 75.95 is the price of the box kit ONLY, depending on which set of boxes you choose.
You will be invoiced at UPS rates for the shipping of EACH box and pay through a link to the invoice at Quickbooks.
You will be invoiced ONCE for the box kit and a SECOND time for the shipping of the boxes.
How long will it take my box kit to arrive?
Box kits can take up to a week for shipping.
Due to COVID-19 delays may occur in transit.
Are box kits available to purchase from all 50 states?
Box kits are only available in the 48 continental states.
I packed all my boxes and they are ready for pick up, now what?
Great job! Log on to the Home2Home website and verify your school address.
Now, click the tab along the left sidebar to 'Request Labels and/or Home Pick Up' to notify The UPS Store at CU.
A representative will call you from the store to verify contents and insurance requirements.
At this time, you can decide to schedule a UPS pickup or you can take your boxes to The UPS Store in your community and drop them off.
How do you get UPS labels for the boxes?
Within your online account through Home2Home, you should select the tab along the left sidebar to 'Request Labels/Pickup'.
You will input your box dimensions and weights (You can use a basic floor scale.).
Upon completion of this step, a representative of The UPS Store will contact you for finalizing the labels and get them emailed to you.
I am in the process of changing my room assignment, what should I do if that changes?
Log in to your account on the Home2Home website.
If your address changes before shipping, make sure to update that in your account.
We verify all student room accommodations prior to delivering items in rooms.
I am a slow packer; can I ship my boxes at different times?
Yes. Multiple requests can be made for pick up through the 'Request Labels and/or Home Pick Up' tab along the left sidebar.
Are there any cases in which my boxes would NOT be delivered to my room?
Access to student rooms is limited after students begin to check in.
If a roommate checks in early, The UPS Store may be denied access to the room.
If arrangements can be made with hall staff, the packages will still be delivered.
If they are not delivered prior to your arrival, contact us and we will still provide contactless delivery to your room.
How soon should I have my boxes at CU to make sure they are delivered to my room?
All of your packages should be set to arrive to The UPS Store at CU NO LATER than August 2, 2025.
If you are running late, we will work with you to select faster delivery options at higher pricing in order to ensure items arrive by the deadline.
Please let the representative, whom you work with for your labels, know about your needs.
What if I do not know my room assignment?
Please input 'Not Assigned' in the delivery address field.
We will work directly with the university to ensure all items end up in the correct room, prior to your arrival.
